Avatar: The Last Airbender Season I - Appa Creature FX (2023)

For a good chunk of 2023 I had the pleasure of getting to work on the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Netflix live-action adaptation.

This was my first time doing CFX and it was a very fun learning experience. I mostly did shotwork on Appa, which included the fur, skeleton, muscle and fat sims as well as the ropes and saddle movement.

In addition, I was running the digi doubles of the main character trio for a few select shots. This has been one of the most exciting projects of my career so far, and I thoroughly enjoyed working on it.
